The hero of the film was the preacher, because from the statements spoken by him before being killed, made Tom Joad arouse his desire for justice and walk across the country fighting for justice and helping those who had going through the same pain that he his family had passed.

  2. The hero of the film for me was Tom Joad, that fought for the family showing courage and the desire for justice inside himself. Even when he has to leave will willing to fight.
“"I will walk around in the dark. I'll be everywhere. Wherever you look. Where there's a fight so hungry people can eat, I'll be there. Where there is a police beating a person will be there. I'll be the cries of people who go crazy. I'll be the laughter of children when they're hungry and they call for dinner. And when people eat what they grow and live in the homes they build. Also I'll be there. "

  4. Maybe Tom because he fled to fight for the cause of his people. Maybe Jim, because he died for that cause. Perhaps the mother tone for his grit and generosity ...
